Sansa, iPod, GPS. Easily five or more times faster than hooking the device up to a USB source on a computer. I use this to hook up and charge just about everyting that I have that uses a USB port for charging. It charges them all and with lightening speed.
I wouldn't recommend this product. I contacted the company's customer service. There is an indicator light which should have come on when charging. NOT WORTH IT. This item didn't meet my expectations.
I needed this for a trip and couldn't wait. NO LIGHT. I discovered that I had to update the firmware for my player before I could even use the product. I wanted something portable that would recharge my Sansa 260 MP3 player. Once that was done and I connect the player to the charger, nothing happened.
The rep said that I could send it to them for an exchange.
it didn't charge properly. the plug didn't even work properly. it was cheaply manufactured, and, in essence, a piece of junk
The Macally USB AC Charger for SanDisk MP3 Players that I purchased worked fine for a short period of time, then the cheap construction allowed the slot to be pushed inside the charger, not flush with or attached to the body, so it could not be used. Plain poor quality.
Overall, based on my own experience, I recommend this product because it does what it's supposed to do. Also, if I recall, one reviewer said that when the player is fully charged, the light turns from yellow to green. I haven't had that problem. I just keep track of what time I plugged the player to the charger. I have been using this charger for the past 10 months with no problems whatsoever. It's been that long since I originally read the reviews when shopping for a charger, but I'm quite sure that some reviewers said thatthe USB cable doesn't plug into the charger tightly enough, but they were still able to use the charger. The light on mine never does change to green when the player is done charging, but I don't find that to be a major issue.
